Club Nights - Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
..... the Boat Club and Chess Clubs are still thriving, the latter having had two pleasant meetings with the Bromsgrove Club, in the first being victorious but suffering defeat in the return match.
The Boat Club provides enjoyment for about 70 members, and owing to careful management during the past year is now free from debt. Mr Brinton being unwilling to have the boathouse moored in his Severn field, the Committee are negotiating with the Canal Co. for permission to use the Basin near the Bridge for that purpose.
