Stourport Literary Institute Boat Club Races ... 1891
The annual Club Races of the Stourport Institute and Boat Club were held on September 5th and 12th, and the members are to be congratulated upon the improvement shown over previous years. The prizes were more keenly competed for and better form was shown in the rowing than has been the case for many years past. The weather was very favourable and the large number of spectators present showed that a considerable amount of interest was taken in these races. Mr Harold Baldwin acted as judge, and Mr T. Pritchard as starter; and great satisfaction was expressed by the members as to the fair and impartial way in which the races were conducted. The club are indebted to the following gentlemen for the prizes competed for: Mt J.
